Online Resources

 Accessing research databases online for students:

1. Go to your DASHBOARD.

2. If you are on a Chromebook, click on MackinVIA on the dashboard.

3. If you are on a PC or the mobile app, log in using your Rockwall ISD student email. 

4. At left, click on "Databases".

5. Choose the database you want to use and click on "Open Now".

HOW TO ACCESS E-BOOKS ON FOLLETT'S DESTINY DISCOVER

EBooks can be read on either a computer or on a student's device. Follett's Destiny Discover has a free app called Destiny Discover that can be downloaded on to devices. To access eBooks and audiobooks available on Destiny Discover:
1. Go to EBOOKS
2. Use your student ID and the password you use to log on to computers at school
3. You can search by title in the search box at the top OR
4. Browse titles using the Catergories or search the eBook collection
5. When you chosen a book, you can either read it online by clicking Open or download it to your device by clicking Checkout
