If your child is not performing well in school
Education is a partnership! Parents, students, and educators work together to make students successful. Because we believe in “life-long learning”, even parents and teachers are students in some sense. Your involvement counts, and at Rockwall ISD, we welcome your contribution and participation in helping make the difference in student success. We are prepared to provide additional resources and information to help you make the best of every learning opportunity.
If you sense your child is struggling with school, we can help. It often starts with a meeting at the school to identify issues and set the stage where intervention or direction can take place. Each campus has a team of professionals ready to determine the kind of help required. To learn more visit this link:

It may be that your child needs help with general academics. School grades, feedback from teachers, and your own observations can suggest additional intervention is needed.
Because students grow and learn at different rates, we recognize the importance of identifying needs for additional tutoring, after-school help, or special needs. The school counselor can arrange to meet with you to determine the best course of action. Call your school and ask to speak with the school counselor.
