Rockwall-Heath won its first baseball state championship Friday night, defeating Cleburne 10-1 in the 4A final at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

Senior Jovan Hernandez, a four-year starter for the Hawks, held Cleburne to four hits. He also drove in three runs with a home run and a single. Timbo Duncan, Grayson Lewis and Russell Hughes had two runs batted in apiece.
