Sheri Fowler, local author and historian, visited 2nd graders at Ouida Springer Elementary.  During this visit she took the students on a virtual tour of Rockwall’s history using historical photographs.  During this special visit, Ms. Fowler explained the historical significance of our city’s namesake, showed images from her book and answered students’ questions. Ms. Fowler’s presentation was the capstone to the student’s unit on local history.

In addition to her role as Rockwall County Historian, Sheri Fowler is Executive Director for Communications, Public Relations and Marketing at Rockwall ISD.
