Houston Junior Agricultural Mechanics Show


The Houston Junior Agricultural Mechanics Show highlights the many talents of Texas FFA and 4-H members.  These individuals build gates, hay haulers, trailers, and more, all on display in Reliant Center.  Judging focuses not only on the craftsmanship of the exhibitors, but also their documentation and interaction with the judges’ panel.  The 2015 show had 482 entries with 2000+ students participating.  Results for Rockwall FFA projects are as follows:

24’ Entry Gate – Blue Ribbon

14’ Utility Trailer – Blue Ribbon

10’ Utility Trailer – Blue Ribbon; 4th in Class

12’ Dump Trailer- Blue Ribbon; 2nd in Class

1951 Ford 8N Tractor –Blue Ribbon

 1st Place Overall Showmanship – 24’ Entry Gate – Will Morris, Matt Holland, Jacob Hogue, John Charles Terry
