Rockwall Jr. Robotics Wins Big at FLL Razorback Invitational


Ten 5th and 6th grade students from Stevenson Elementary, were invited to a world-wide Robotics competition at University of Arkansas.  Robotics teams that finished within the top 3 of their regional completions competed with 72 teams from around the world.  31 states were represented as well as 12 different countries.  The rookie Rockin Robotics team took home the award for 9th place Robot Performance as well as 1st Place Core Values Award for Inspiration.

This  award  celebrates  a  team  that  is  empowered  by  their  FLL experience  and displays extraordinary  enthusiasm  and  spirit.  Harrison Smith from Rockwall High School also took home the 2nd place Teen Mentor award for his mentorship with the team.  It’s been a great season for this rookie team!
