Rockwall ISD Ag Mechanics Team Wins Numerous Awards at Ft. Worth Stock Show

The Rockwall Ag. Mechanics Team took eleven kids to the Ft.Worth Stock Show to showcase and compete with 4 projects in the Ag. Mechanics Project Show.

One of the projects that competed and received a blue ribbon was a 10 ft. utility trailer built by Aden Baker, Cole Schieberle, Cade Herin, Jacob Rogers and Luke Rothbauer.

Other projects included a fire pit built by Ryan Ullom from Rockwall High School that received a red ribbon and a shop table awarded a blue ribbon that was built by Logan Duckworth from Rockwall High School.

A 36 ft. Lowboy Gooseneck with Hydraulic Dovetail won big as a blue ribbon winner, 1st class winner, Grand in Division and Grand overall. The trailer was built by Michael Cavazos from Rockwall-Heath High School and John-Charles Terry along with Trevor Rowe, both of which are from Rockwall High School.

The Grand Champion project was built during school and after school and had over 900 hours invested in it by the students. 340 other projects were beat out to receive Grand Champion.
