Students Serving Others at Williams Middle School

Williams Middle School partnered with Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary to replenish needed items to Helping Hands for our annual service project.

Williams and Cullins entered into a friendly competition to see which campus could collect the most items. Items collected were toothpaste, tooth brushes, shampoo & conditioner, bar soap, canned meat and canned fruit. Together our schools collected a total of 5,294 items to be donated!

Williams collected a total of 2,874 items! Jana Helmer’s 2nd period PALS class collected 673 items and were the winning class at Williams Middle School. Lisa Laudermilk’s and Laura Shine’s classes were the 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Williams Middle School student, Emma Stelzer said, “Giving back is important because it makes me feel like I did the right thing which makes me feel good about myself.”
