Hawks Victorious Against West Mesquite 29-7

The Rockwall-Heath Hawks nabbed their first victory of the season as well as a part of Conference 6A on Thursday night against West Mesquite 29-7.

The Hawks offense started to take form on Thursday night and also wore down West Mesquite.

Tanner McCallister did it all for the Hawks on both sides of the ball. He threw for a touchdown and ran for 39 yards on the ground. Jordan Kempf was his endzone target for the touchdown. JC Jimmerson also ran the ball for just under 100 yards on the night including two touchdowns. Grant Buckholt ran for 83 yards.

The Hawks were swarming on defense as well including three interceptions and had West Mesquite QB Connor Nill on his toes throughout the game.

The Hawks have now won 4 straight games against West Mesquite.
