Food Trucks Descend on Rockwall High School for Jacket Feast

Jacket Feast began in the fall of 2015 to allow students and staff to have an extended lunch and give them the option to purchase fun food while eating outside.

It is a small gesture to break the monotony of the normal school day and goes a long way to raise morale and school spirit. The food trucks also donate 10% of their sales to the school.

This year the RHS PTA organized all of the food vendors, helped with setup and supervised the students during the event. These types of partnerships with parents help ensure the safety and success of Rockwall schools.

The parents worked extra hard to ensure Jacket Feast was a success with good food, good music and a great atmosphere. Two more Jacket Feast events are planned for spring of 2017.
