Pullen Welcomes Interim Principal Michael Stuart

Pullen Elementary welcomes Interim Principal, Mr. Michael Stuart. Mr. Stuart was named as interim this week with the resignation of Mrs. JaNeice Chambers. He started his first day on the job welcoming parents and students in the drop-off line at school.

Mr. Stuart earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M-Commerce.

Mr. Stuart has been a part of the Rockwall ISD family for 18 years. He taught at Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary and was assistant principal at Nebbie Williams, Virginia Reinhardt, Grace Hartman and Howard Dobbs prior to coming to Pullen Elementary as the Interim Principal. As part of the campus leadership team at Dobbs they achieved the highest academic accountability rating and is home to the district Teacher of the Year and an H-E-B Teacher finalist in the state of Texas. He and his wife have children that attend school in Rockwall.

The district plans to pursue filling the Pullen principal position in the spring of 2017 for the 2017-2018 school year.
