The Black Hawk Robotics team competed in the FIRST Robotics Championships in St Louis on April 24-27. They finished as an Archimedes division semi-finalist. Out of over 4,000 team world wide only 400 teams qualified to attend the Championships. The teams are divided into four divisions. This means, only 24 teams went further in the competition then the team. This was a terrific end to the season filled with awards. The robotics team won the Imagery Award at the Lubbock Regional and the Excellence in Engineering Award at the Dallas Regional. Lastly, they won the Dallas Regional that qualified them for the world championships.
