I am so excited about my 3nd year here at Nebbie Williams!  My name is Mrs. Foley, and this will be my 20^th year teaching.  I’ve taught 3-5^th grades-- but mostly 4^th grade.  I adore 4^th graders and I can’t wait to get to know my students better.  I am obnoxiously passionate about reading, and I love sharing my love of reading with my students.

          Mr. Foley, the fantastic music teacher here at Nebbie, is my husband.  We’ve been married and best friends for 23 years now.  We have a daughter in 11th grade and a son 9th grade at Rockwall High School this year.  Nebbie was their elementary school.  We love having a family movie night once a week and playing board or card games together.

          Outside of school, I have several interests.  I love spending our summers traveling.  We are trying to visit all 50 states as a family.  Our family has 4 cats named Winter, Boba Fett, Tris, and Picasso.  I collect frogs at school, but I don’t have one as a pet.  I think they are extremely interesting animals, but I can’t stand the thought of frogs cooped up in a tank.  They need to be hopping around in nature.  I love Starbucks—especially nonfat iced mochas.  My other favorite drink is unsweet tea from Sonic. I love shopping at Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Target.  My favorite restaurants are Chiloso and Valentino’s in Rowlett.  Instead of a sweet tooth, I love salty snacks like cheese flavored popcorn and chips. I love to make crafts, paint and draw.

          This is going to be a fantastic year!  I can’t wait to get to know my students better.
