I'm currently in my 33rd year of teaching. The last 25 years have been in Rockwall ISD.  I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist and teach students identified with dyslexia.   Prior to teaching students identified with dyslexia , I taught second, third, fourth, fifth, and eigth  grade and also worked as a reading specialist.  In addition to teaching in Texas, I taught in Illinois and Idaho.  I earned my Bachelor of Applied Science (1988) and my Masters of Education (1989) from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas.
