Mrs. Gretchen Kimpel

My name is Gretchen Kimpel and I am the campus 504 Coordinator and the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator.  This is my 13th year in education overall and my 7th year at Heath.  However, this is my first year out of the classroom, so that is an adjustment.

I grew up in Sturgis, Michigan.  I graduated from high school in 2005 and attended Michigan State University.  I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science in 2009.  I also received a Master's Degree in Special Education from Michigan State in 2018.  I moved to Texas in 2010 after marrying my husband, Jason.  We have 2 sons, Ian is 10 and in 5th grade, and Connor, who is 5 and in 1st grade this year.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, cleaning, and plannering (I know this is not a word, but I will use it anyway).
