Utley Middle School students participated in a Poetry Coffeehouse. 7th grade SAGE students and 8th grade Pre-AP students came together in Mrs. Cypert's class to create a fun and reflective way to remember what poetry is really all about: creativity and expression. After studying and writing various types of poetry, students chose one their own pieces to share with their peers. Starbucks generously sponsored the event, and the students sipped and celebrated with art, music, and poetry.
