The Utley Middle School PALS bought, decorated duffle bags, and filled them with stuffed animals, blankets, coloring books, crayons, and toiletries to donate to local foster care agencies. Many foster children arrive at a foster care agency without any personal belongings and if they do have something, they often only have a trash bag or a plastic sack with a few articles of clothing inside. With the bags, the children get to keep the bags and the belongings inside. The PALS have decorated the bags with pictures and expressions to help them through their difficult situations. Utley PALS partnered with RHHS Student Council and Together We Rise in order to distribute these bags to local foster care agencies.
