Jones Students Experience the American Revolution

Jones Elementary fifth graders in Ms. Butler's class recently used Google Expeditions to experience the locations of the American Revolution.

Students used virtual reality goggles to see where Paul Revere rode, where the Battle at Lexington and Concord happened and where the American troops marched to meet the British soldiers. Ms. Butler led the students through the tour and gave information about the locations. 

“It was awesome,’ said Johnny Antone, a fifth-grade student. “It helped me learn because I could see it, not just read about it on paper.”
