The Varsity Cheer Team from Rockwall-Heath High School recently won their first-ever NCA National Championship in the Intermediate Large category.
The group, led by Head Cheer Coach Amanda Jones, competed against teams from California, New Jersey, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas.
They were also recognized for Best Use of Stunts and Best Use of Tumbling.
