Rockwall ISD Library Services

Welcome! The library is an integral and valuable part of Curriculum and Instruction in Rockwall ISD.  Realizing that success depends on the strength of our relationships, Rockwall ISD’s Library Media Specialists strive every day to connect students, teachers and the community to the information literacy resources available on every campus.  Browse our library websites and learn how the library can make a difference in your student’s life.

Our Mission The mission of Rockwall ISD Library Program is to work collaboratively with staff and students to create discriminating life-long learners who use ideas and information to meet intellectual, curricular, and recreational needs.  Rockwall ISD Library Media Specialists provide a climate that fuels the spirit of inquiry, fosters problem solving and creativity, and increases student academic success.

Get Students Hooked On Summer Reading
Our students have worked too hard all school year to let the “summer slide” erase their reading progress. Encourage students to take advantage of the free resources available at the Rockwall County Public Library. They may know they can get books, but they may not know that they can check out movies, video games, use the computer, or join community reading programs (many of which have incentives for summer reading). See the attached flyers for more information.
