ROCK After School Care
ROCK operates on all RISD elementary campuses during the school year serving all students Pre-K – Grade 6 who can successfully function in a 1:20 teacher/student ratio. Each school day from 3:00-6:00 p.m. certified teachers and highly trained staff will engage your child in a fun, learning-rich program that includes: science, math, Spanish, fine arts and much more. A nutritious snack and homework help will be offered each afternoon. Whether we “rec it up” on the playground / gym or “tech it up” in the computer lab each day, it is a guaranteed great time! Standard tuition is $260 per service period, based on 176 school days. Multi-child and free/reduced lunch student discounts are also available.
2013-2014 School Year Registration
New students will not be allowed to begin ROCK for the ’13-’14 school year after April 1, 2014.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE AVAILABLE IN MAY.
In order to register for the 2013-14 ROCK After School Program, please see the registration information and instructions below. All registration forms must be returned by fax, email, mail or in person. (See the registration information form for addresses and phone numbers.)
These forms must be received in the ROCK office 48 hours (2 business days) prior to your child’s first day of care.

ROCK Plus Holiday Care
ROCK will once again be offering care on specific days during Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break and Professional Development days. Please see the below registration form for the specific days and times. You can reserve your child’s spot by returning both the registration form and credit card authorization form on or before the appropriate deadline. Cost is $35 per child and your credit card will be charged prior to the date of care. (Payments are non-refundable.) NOTE: ROCK Plus Holiday Care is only available to students who are currently enrolled in ROCK for the 2013-2014 school year.
Early Release Child Care - June 5, 2014
Elementary children will be released at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 5, 2014. If your child needs to attend the ROCK After School Program on the upcoming early release day, reserve your child’s spot by returning both the registration form and credit card authorization form, which can be found below. You are not required to notify ROCK of all dates that your child will be attending at this time; however, only one form is required per school year. For the next Early Release Day, you will be required to email ROCK by 3:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the next Early Release Day, confirming your child’s attendance. Cost is $25 per student and your credit card will be charged prior to the Early Release Day. For the June 5 date, all registration forms must be received by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2. (Payments are non-refundable.) You will receive an email confirming your child’s reserved spot. On Early Release Day ROCK will begin at dismissal and your child must be picked up before 6:00 p.m. Fun activities as well as a snack will be provided. ROCK Summer Program 2014 (June 11-August 8)
Under the Sea Adventures ~ Surfing into Summer 2014
Grab your snorkel and fins and get ready for a fun-filled under the sea adventure this summer with ROCK! Games, hands-on activities, crafts and much more await you during this full or half day program. Boats set sail each Monday with different activities each week. We hope to SEA you this summer with the ROCK summer program!
ROCK Summer program is held at Amanda Rochell Elementary (899 Rochell Court, Rockwall, TX 75087). Full day and half day options available.
Camp Invention will again be held this summer on July 14-18 at Amanda Rochell Elementary. Click the flyer for more information.

The ROCK After School Program utilizes the childcare management system, EZChildTrack. The EZChildTrack system with Parent Portal provides parents/guardians with secure access to manage account and child information, view monthly invoices and statements, view real-time account balances, review program registration and enrollment, and make online payments.
ParentPortal online account access will be provided via e-mail once the ROCK Registration Form for the 2013-2014 school year has been submitted.
