Welcome to the Health Science Career Pathway!  I teach Medical Terminology and Dental Practicum at the Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy.  Medical Terminology covers the language of medicine and the structures and functions of the human body. Dental Practicum gives the students the opportunity to explore the field of dentistry while working toward their Registered Dental Assistant certification. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist, so I enjoy showing students how these subjects apply to healthcare jobs and how they can use this information to care for future patients.  Please use Google Classroom and Remind 101 to access class information, lerssons, and reminders.
