My name is Christa Goodell and I am the PK-6 Elementary School Counselor. I am so excited to be part of the Dobbs Elementary family; already it is so apparent how close-knit and welcoming the Dobbs community is, I feel very lucky to be part of it! I live in Royse City with my husband Cole and my two children. Everly is 14 months old and Easton is 7 years old. We have a leopard gecko (Maximus) and a beta fish (Paco). I am a first year counselor, but I have 14 years of teaching experience behind me in Cedar Hill, Mesquite, and Rockwall. As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic and social/emotional development of all students.  I am here to advocate for all students, as well as all faculty and staff. I am so excited to work with your children and get to know you throughout the school year!
