Welcome to Heath! I am the head boys soccer coach at Heath, and I teach Geometry. This will be my 12th year as a high school teacher and coach. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I spent 10 years as an engineer and project manager in the professional world.  After realizing that I was not touching very many lives as an engineer, I spent 5 years on Young Life staff, mostly in Texarkana, Texas.  My first education job was teaching Algebra I and Geometry (add assistant soccer coach) at Copperas Cove High School in the 2010-2011 school year.  I was a Geometry teacher and assistant soccer coach at McKinney Boyd for two years, and taught Algebra 2 and was the head boys soccer coach at Austin Westwood for five years.

I am excited to be in Heath and to be a part of Heath High School!  Let's have a great year!
