Hey, Hamm Heroes! My name is Erica Wood, and I am excited for year two at Hamm Elementary. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have gained valuable teaching experiences throughout my time at Texas A&M, including student teaching in on-level and Pre-AP math classes. Last year, I taught sixth grade Math and Science, and I am excited to continue to invest in the lives of our students here at Hamm. 

In my free time, I like to bake and try new recipes. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, going on walks, and spending time with my friends and family. I have a dog, Linus, with a hilarious personality that I love dearly. I have grown up in the Rockwall area, and I love our community. I am passionate about making an impact in the classroom and building positive relationships with my students. Overall, I can’t wait to meet everyone. It is going to be a great school year!
