Mrs. Le

My name is Jillian Le and I am so excited to be teaching Pre-K at Celia Hays! I have been teaching since I graduated from A&M-Commerce in 2005, except a few years that I stayed home with my daughter. The years I was home with her, I taught Mother's Day Out, which fired up my passion for early childhood education. Previously, I taught special education, 3rd and 5th grade. My husband, Cam, and I live in Rockwall with our 2 girls, Annistyn (9) and Madisyn (1) and our dog, Paxton. We have been married 14 years and love working out, traveling and the Dallas Cowboys. 

One of the reasons I love Pre-K is because this is often a student's first experience at school. I love to create a foundation for them to carry throughout their school years. Not only do we learn letters, numbers, shapes and more, but these children develop social emotional skills that are incredibly important for their future. Learning through play about sharing, friendships and communication is all part of our Pre-K day. I am looking foward to a great year!
