Hello! My name is Jami Slagle and I am so thrilled to have your child in my classroom! The 2021-2022 school year is going to be an incredible learning adventure for all!

For some background knowledge on me - teaching is my second career. I went to college the first time and earned my bachelor’s degree in Accounting and my Master’s in Business Administration in Finance. After working in Accounting/Finance for some time, then getting married and starting a family, our lives changed. After becoming a mother, I realized how truly important education is to our world. After my third child was born, while in my 30s, I decided to go back to college and get certified to teach and earned my Master's in Education. I have been teaching 7 years now and I love it!

I have taught both Special Education and General Education at the elementary and middle school levels, and this is my second year to teach at Rockwall High School. JFND!!
