Biography:
     I began my career teaching second grade for eleven years in the Wylie Independent School District.  This is my fifth year at Dobbs, and my sixteenth year teaching.  It is extra special to be teaching in the same district I attended school from kindergarten through high school.  I LOVE teaching in the Rockwall Independent School District and I LOVE being a Dobbs Lil' Jacket! 
     I set high standards for my students and will not settle for anything less than their best.  Throughout the year I will constantly promote the mindset of doing one’s best, not just in school, but in all aspects of life.  Catering to the educational needs of every student is also of utmost importance to me.  I want them to meet, if not exceed, their goals.  I have many goals for myself as a teacher as well, most of which are based upon the success of my students.  Every year I challenge myself to grow as a teacher, just as your child grows as a student.
