Hello and welcome! I am so excited to be a member of the Rockwall High School family as part of the biology department!

I previously taught 8th grade science in Mesquite ISD and cannot wait for the adventures we'll have in biology! Prior to entering the world of education, I received my Bachelor's degree in biology from Dallas Baptist University and went on to receive my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. I so enjoyed working as a physical therapist and building relationships with my patients and their families, but have loved everything that I have come to learn since transitioning to the classroom. My passion continues to be building relationships with the people I work with. I love coming alongside my students and their families and fostering relationships that allow every student to experience success in the classroom. 

The most important information about my class will be posted in Canvas and communication with parents and guardians will most often be through Skyward/email blasts. Let's have a great year!
