Hello!

I am Ashley Crowe and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade Science and Social Studies at Jones this year! My passion for teaching Science began working on a National Science Foundation funded grant called ETEAMS where I worked in several schools with the goal of positively increasing hands-on, authentic, Math and Science instruction in 4-8 classrooms in the Corpus Christi area. Since then, I have taught 5th grade all subjects, four years of departmentalized 5th grade Science, and I served as a PK-5 Instructional Coach & Literacy Specialist. This will be my second year teaching fifth grade at Jones. I graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 2016 and with my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2021. 

I live locally in Rockwall with my husband and two children. I have a daughter who is in first grade this year and a two-year-old son. In my free time I enjoy all things cooking, baking, and being outdoors.
