Welcome to American Sign Language! I hope you learn a lot during your time in your ASL classes and I hope you even have an opportunity to chat with Deaf individuals you may meet in the community.

The first 6 years that I was in education, I was a Deaf Education teacher and then shifted to General Education teaching ASL.  I started with RISD in 2004.  I love working with students and sharing with them about ASL, the Deaf, and Deaf culture. My goal is for them to feel comfortable using their new language.

Throughout these web pages you can find daily agendas, vocabulary lists, test dates, project rubrics, study guides for each chapter, ASL Club events, activities and important dates.

Tutoring times ASL I = Tuesdays 8:00 - 8:30a and 3:45 - 4:15p and other times by appointment.
