I have been happily married to an amazing man, Chris, for 21 years.  We have two beautiful daughters.  Savannah has just graduated from Rockwall High School where she was in the Orange Wave marching and concert bands. She is beginning her next chapter as a freshman at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. She is studying interior design.  Payton is a junior at Rockwall High School and is a Stingerette, which is the varsity drill and competition team.  We attend Lake Pointe Church, and we are actively involved in several ministries. 

I grew up in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Madison High School.  I moved to Lubbock, TX to attend Texas Tech University.  I was a baton twirler in the Goin' Band from Raiderland, and I continued to play the flute in concert bands.  In 2000, I graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I was hired to teach 3rd grade in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, so I moved to Dallas.  

After 6 years of teaching 3rd grade, I stayed home with my girls for 8 years.  I worked in preschools, MDO programs, and taught Stretch-n-Grow during that time.  I was hired to teach Kindergarten at Cullins for the 2013-2014 school year.  I taught Kindergarten for 3 years, 3rd grade for 3 years, and now I am super excited to be in my 4th year of 4th grade!!!
