- Proper position for instrument and bow
- Reading music on D and A strings using Essential Elements book 1
- Students will prepare music for winter concert
- Music will be selected by teachers and handouts will be given
Spring semester:
- Students will learn additional playing skills
- 8th notes
- Low 2
- Slurs
- Staccato
- Students will learn songs that demonstrate each new skill in Essential Elements book 1
