Welcome to Mr. Baker's UT OnRamps Course! I am really looking forward to studying United States History with you throughout this year. UT OnRamps will be very rewarding and fun as we dig deeper into the events, culture, and stories that have shaped us into the modern day United States of America.

This UT OnRamps course has been designed by the faculty at UT Austin as an in depth study of United States history that analyzes the interaction among individuals, communities, states, the nation, and the world, considering how these interactions have contributed to the development of the United States and its global role.

OnRamps students should approach this course with an inquisitive mindset that seeks out different historical perspectives on the past as we will be using a variety of sources throughout the year. During this OnRamps course we will investigate how our shared history helps inform an ever evolving understanding of the truth at the heart of our first national motto, E Pluribus Unum (Out of many, One).

Please feel free to contact me at micah.baker@rockwallisd.org if you have any questions or concerns.
