Welcome to Mrs. O's U.S. History class!  I sincerely hope you are as excited as I am for the upcoming school year.  I look forward to traveling through time with you and exploring various topics related to our nation's history!  

Canvas - My primary method of communicating with students this year outside of class will be Skyward and Remind.  Classroom resources will still be posted in Canvas so that students who miss class or want to review materials can access those resources on their own time.  Students that miss class, want to get ahead or need to review concepts, will be able to find assignments, videos, links and a plethora of other resources on the site. 

Remind

Students are encouraged to sign up for our class Remind.   This system will be used to communicate regarding due dates and other important information for the class. From time to time I will also send out links to interesting articles or videos.  My hope is that students will come prepared for class discussions and use these opportunities to master the key concepts in this course. While the messages sent out through Remind are meant for students in my class, parents are welcome to join the fun.
