Hello! My name is Shelby "Byrdie" Byrd and I currently teach Art 1. I attended the University of North Texas where I got a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Ceramics as well as my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education. Prior to teaching, I worked as an after-school educational mentor in Portland, Oregon and a costume seamstress in Denton, Texas. I'm passionalte about learning, having fun, finding beauty in the little things, and making the perfect cup of coffee.
