The University of Texas at Austin OnRamps

OnRamps is an innovative dual enrollment and professional development initiative led by The University of Texas at Austin. Founded in 2011 in partnership with the Texas Higher Education Leaders Consortium, and supported by generous funding from the Texas Legislature, OnRamps is dedicated to preparing high school students for postsecondary student success.

Please see the Rockwall ISD Summary for 19-20 on OnRamps at this link.

For more information about the program, visit the UT OnRamps webpage.

CHANGE FOR 19-20 SCHOOL YEAR: In prior years and including for the 18-19 school year, all OnRamps courses were free to all Rockwall ISD students. However, due to the popularity of the OnRamps courses across the State of Texas and changes in funding from the State of Texas, Rockwall ISD high school students taking OnRamps courses during the 19-20 school year have an associated $149 fee ($99 for free and reduced lunch students) per 3 credit hour course. Visit this link for more information from UT about the costs and benefits of taking OnRamps courses in high school.
