Robert Castorena, M.D.

Hello!  I am STOKED to be starting to be starting my 2nd year at Rockwall-HEATH High School.  My wife and I live within the Rockwall Community and we have a 4th grader learning in RISD too. 

Since I was a 7th grade "Air Force Brat" in San Antonio, Science has been a life-long passion of mine.  As a Pediatric Anesthesiologist, working with kids and helping kids was my calling and drive "24/7".  As an attending physician, I was assigned to teach medical students, anesthesia residents and anesthesia fellows - - this is where I unexpectedly and surprisingly found my 2nd passion ... teaching.  Having all of my own childhood teachers close to my heart of hearts, I too hope to effect positive change and maybe inspire students as well.
