Course Description:  This class will be conducted primarily in Spanish.  Students will be introduced to the Spanish-speaking world, with many of its unique, colorful, and cultural elements.  All levels hope to inspire students to become more globally minded through development of their speaking, reading, writing and listening skills.  In Spanish 1, the student learns to communicate at a novice level on a variety of authentic topics including (but not limited to): introductions, shopping, asking and receiving directions, and communicating one’s needs and interests.
