Mrs. Heather Graham

Hello!  My name is Heather Graham and this is my 21st year in Education. I became the school counselor at Rochell Elementary in 2020. Before becoming a counselor, I was a teacher and a varsity basketball coach. I have an amazing husband, four kids, and two German Shepard kids. My youngest daughter and I love to educate others about uniqueness and acceptance of differences. She was born with a neurological disorder and learns differently and at her own pace. 

I truly believe that adversity can either destroy us or grow us. It all depends on your perspective.  My goal is to help the future generation find their purpose and discover how to read the map to their future destination one student at a time. I hope to help them navigate their own academic, career, and personal/social-emotional development. I love to collaborate with students and staff so they can experience healing by understanding their experiences and advocating for their personal restoration. Through the identification of barriers, setting goals, and finding solutions to barriers, students and teachers will be able to focus on their educational and occupational success.

My hobbies include serving others, playing with my kids, reading about counseling and psychology, sports, and trying to bring a smile to everyone around me.
