Hello!

I am so very excited about teaching 3rd grade this year at Ouida Springer Elementary. I have been teaching for 10 years. My favorite aspects of teaching are being able to watch the students grow, and building long-lasting relationships with the families that I serve.

I am married and have two kids. Michael is 16 and Perla is 4. They keep us on our toes! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and spending time outdoors.

I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce in 2012, and received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2015, also from Texas A&M Commerce. I do my best to take advantage of every opportunity to learn new strategies and skills to help me grow as an educator.
