Mrs. Cristina Wilkes

Welcome to the 6th grade!

I am thrilled to be teaching your child this year. I am a fourth year teacher coming from Tarleton State University (Heyyy Oscar P!). I grew up in Rockwall and attended Rockwall ISD schools from 1st-12th grade and I am so glad to be teaching in a district that raised me. I got married at the end of the 18-19 school year and I reside in Rockwall with my husband, daughter and two dogs. I enjoy seeing movies with my family and watching sports. 

I student taught in a 4th and 5th grade classroom with experiences in both math and science. I completed undergraduate research concerning the integration of mathematics and science, and have taught 6th grade math for three years and science one year at CLP. I will be teaching Pre-AP and On-Level Math as well as sicence this year for 6th grade. You can count on your child being apart of an authentic, investigative classroom. I am very passionate about creating lifelong learners that actively participate in my classroom. In my class, we will exhibit respect, collaboration, and compassion.
