Mrs. Diana Jones

Hello All,

My Name is Diana Jones. This is my 1st year at Shannon Elementary, but my 12th year in Rockwall ISD. I have taught ACE and Kindergarten at Nebbie WIlliams. I was ECSE at Lyon Elementary last year. I am very excited to be ECSE at Shannon this year. 

My wonderful husband and I have been married 30 years. We have 2 grown boys and 3 adorable granschildern! My husband is a teacher and coach at Cain Middle School. We moved to Rockwall 10 years ago, after my husband retired from 20 years in the Army. 

Rockwall has been home form my family for 35 years. I have 2 boys that graduated from Rockwall High School, along with my youngest son, so our Rockwall roots run pretty deep! We consider ourselves very lucky to be able to shape the young minds of Rockwall :-) !!!

8:25 – 9:00 – Morning meeting (calendar)

9:00 – 9:20 – AM Prek recess

9:20 – 9:40 – AM Group Time Activity

9:40 – 10:00 – AM centers/learning rotations

10:00 – 10:30 – AM motor lab

10:30 – 11:00 – Snack/Full-day lunch w/prek

10:45 = 10:50 – AM dismissal

11:00 – 12:00 – Rest/Quiet time

11:55 – 12:00 – PM arrival

12:00 – 12:30 – PM prek recess

12:30 – 12:45 – PM Independent Desk Work

12:45 – 1:15 – Afternoon meeting (calendar)

1:15 – 1:40 – PM motor lab

1:40 – 2:00 – PM Group Work Activty

2:00 – 2:30 – PM centers/learning rotations

2:30 – 2:45 – Snack

2:45 – 2:50 – Dismissal for all

Teacher Conference time is 11:00 - 11:45, but I can arrange to meet at teacher and parent convenance.
