Hello! My name is Deanna Carstarphen and I am an elementary resource and inclusion support special education teacher at Grace Hartman Elementary School. I received my degree of Bachelors of Science and Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in EC-12 Special Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2019. This is my fourth year teaching the special education population and I am thrilled to be teaching at Grace Hartman Elementary again this year!

A few personal facts about me:I am having a baby boy this November and I am originally from deep East Texas. I have a catahoula leopard dog named Athena, a Sable German Shepherd named Apollo, and last but not least, a blue and gold macaw named Cameron. They are my world!
