The Rockwall ISD Pre-AP (Pre-Advanced Placement) courses provide students in Grades 6-12 the opportunity to learn academic course material but at a faster pace and at a deeper level of understanding than in on-level courses. Pre-AP courses are designed to develop critical reading, analytic problem solving, and clear writing skills needed for successful completion of college-level work while still in high school. Enrolling in Pre-AP courses is recommended for students who wish to take Advanced Placement (AP), OnRamps, or International Baccalaureate (IB) classes while in high school.
College Board's Big Future website has many resources to help students prepare for educational opportunities after high school. Please see the following link for more information.
