The registration deadline for children to begin ROCK on Monday, August 14th is August 1st.  For registrations received after this deadline, you will receive an email letting you know of your start date provided we have adequate staffing at the selected campus.  Wait list status will be communicated to you as needed. 

ROCK will be operating on all RISD elementary campuses during the 2023-2024 school year, serving RISD Pre-K4 through Grade 6 students. Each school day from 3:00-6:00 p.m. our trained staff will engage your child in a fun, learning environment that includes team building and leadership through recreational activities, community service projects, and other enrichment opportunities.  A snack and homework help will be offered each afternoon.  We use a QR Code dismissal process. ROCK students will be escorted to their vehicle at dismissal for pick up.

Students who can successfully function in a 1:25 teacher/student ratio and toilet independently are eligible to attend. Students should have the following skills to be successful in our program:  ability to get off and on the toilet without assistance; undress and redress themselves in regard to toileting; work/play/eat independently while seated at a table for 30 minutes at a time; transition to a different activity and/or location every 30 minutes; stay with their group and ROCK Staff member at all times; keep their hands and feet away from other students and staff; and follow verbal directions successfully.

Monthly payments are based on the total number of school days and paid in 10 monthly payments.  Tuition also includes child care on all Elementary Early Release Days from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Payments are due on the first of each month. No drop in care is allowed.  Multi-child and free/reduced lunch student discounts are also available. Make your child a ROCK star!!

The ROCK After School Program utilizes the childcare management system, EZChildTrack. The EZChildTrack system with Parent Portal provides parents/guardians with secure access to manage account and child information, view monthly invoices and statements, view real-time account balances, review program registration and enrollment, and make online payments.
