Dr. Sherry Packer was elected to the Rockwall Independent School District Board of Trustees in May of 2021. Sherry Packer has been part of the Rockwall community since 1984. She and her husband, Brett are the parents of two daughters who graduated from Rockwall High School. She is the proud grandparent of five grandchildren. Sherry is a retired educator of over 30 years with 18 of those years in Rockwall. She was a teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal.

B.S. in Elementary Education with emphasis in math.
Masters in Administration.
Doctorate in Supervision, Curriculum and Instruction.
Teacher Certification Elementary K-8, Math K-12, and a Mid-Management Certification
Community Service
Various community service projects through Servant’s Heart group at First Baptist Rockwall. President for Delta Kappa Gamma, Lambda Upsilon Chapter. Choir member at First Baptist Rockwall.
STAN BRITTON

Stan grew up in West Texas and graduated from Permian High School, home of the infamous “Friday Night Lights.” In 2000, he moved to the Metroplex to attend Dallas Baptist University. While a student at DBU, he met his wife, Lauren, and they married in 2004. Stan served various churches and ministries throughout Texas from 1999-2020 as a Student Minister, Discipleship Pastor and Lead Pastor. He has also spent time in healthcare sales and marketing and is a licensed Texas Real Estate agent. Stan is Director of Real Estate for a local development firm. Stan and his family are residents of Heath. In his free time, Stan is involved with Rockwall-Heath athletics as the “Voice of the Heath Hawks.” The Britton family is active at Crosspoint Church, Rockwall. Lauren and Stan are involved in foster care and adoption advocacy, assisting families of children with special needs, and chasing their 5 children to different practices, games and other activities.
DR. BART MILLER

Dr. Miller is a native of Rockwall and a K through 12 graduate of Rockwall High School. Bart attended Northwestern University, graduated from Rice University, and served in the US Navy for five years as a Nuclear Propulsion/Surface Warfare Officer. After completing dental school (UTHSC-San Antonio) and an orthodontic residency (TAMUHSC – Dallas), he returned to Rockwall to raise his family. Bart has three children who attended Rockwall schools and are also proud graduates of RISD.
Dr. Miller’s practice is a family business that has been a part of the Rockwall community for over 45 years giving him daily contact with students and families in the district.
Dr. Miller is a current member and Past President of the Rockwall Rotary Club. He served 20 years on the Rockwall County YMCA Board of Management, including a term as President. He was a founding member of the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation and served on multiple RISD Bond Committees.
Dr. Miller is “… proud to serve RISD, which has been such a large part of my life and my family’s life, navigate the future challenges and opportunities while working to maintain the community relationships that have made it so special.”
DR. STEVE ALBERS

Dr. Steve Albers has served the Rockwall community as a Veterinarian since earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2003. He and his family have called Rockwall home for more than two decades and have proudly raised three children who attended Rockwall Independent School District schools.
A strong supporter of public education, Dr. Albers is a product of the Texas public school system and believes every child deserves access to a high-quality education and a positive learning environment. In addition to his professional work, he coached youth sports in Rockwall for seven years and has remained actively invested in supporting students and families in the community. Dr. Albers is honored to serve on the Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees and contribute to the continued success of Rockwall students.
FRANK CONSELMAN

Frank Conselman was elected to the Rockwall Independent School District Board of Trustees in May of 2021. Frank Conselman, has been a proud Rockwall resident for 19 years. The exceptional reputation of the school system is what drew him to this community. Frank and his wife, Dr. Nicole Conselman have four children. Frank is a local business owner. Frank is a member and former president of the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club and former president of the Rockwall County YMCA Board. Frank was a YMCA youth sports coach for 17 years. Frank was also awarded the Carnegie Hero Medal in 2018 for saving two men from drowning in Pensacola Beach, Florida.

GRANT DUBOIS

After graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2013, Grant and his wife Sarah moved to Rockwall County where he began his legal career as a prosecutor. Since then, the DuBois started their family and are raising their children in Rockwall. "We had the opportunity to live just about anywhere in the metroplex, and staying here to raise our children up through RISD was the easiest decision we have ever made. Our wonderful community and school district afford them with growth opportunities that are unrivaled by our neighboring communities."
Mr. DuBois enjoys giving back to the community. He is a current member of Rockwall Noon Rotary, a board member of the J.E.R. Chilton YMCA, a former board member of the Rockwall County Boys and Girls Club, a former board member and former president of the Rockwall County Bar Association, and a former board member and three-term President of the Rockwall County Republican Men's Club. While Mr. DuBois now practices commercial real estate and public finance law, he still makes time to occasionally take on local cases pro bono to assist those in need of urgent legal help. When not practicing law or supporting Rockwall ISD, Mr. DuBois enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, and skiing.
"My mother was an educator her entire career, and my wife spent time working as a school nurse for RISD. I grew up discussing issues facing students and educators alike. My vision for RISD as we continue to grow is to see these children get the best education possible in the safest environment possible. To get to watch my children and some of the children I've coached develop into young people and grow up in the same district I now serve is a unique and special blessing."
AMY HILTON

Amy Hilton is a 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and has been a licensed as a Certified Public Accountant for 25 years. Amy and her husband, Robert, are residents of Heath and have four children, of whom two are current students and two are RHHS graduates, now attending Texas A&M University and the University of Texas. The Hiltons are active members of First Baptist Church of Rockwall.
Mrs. Hilton has been actively involved in RISD for many years, serving as a two-term president and founder of both Rockwall-Heath Early Childhood PTA and Linda Lyon Elementary PTO. She formerly served on the board of the Rockwall ISD Council of PTA's, Rockwall-Heath High School PTA, Cain Middle School PTA, Amy Parks-Heath Elementary PTO, and the National League of Junior Cotillions, Rockwall chapter. Amy is currently serving as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Young Men’s Service League, Rockwall-Heath chapter, having previously served as Assistant Vice President of Philanthropy, Ultimate Gift Chair, and the philanthropy liaison for Children’s Advocacy Center and Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club. As Ultimate Gift Chair, Mrs. Hilton oversaw the chapter’s 2024 Ultimate Gift Project that installed military branch flags at the homes of 75 local veterans. A recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award and a Rockwall ISD Parent Leadership Academy graduate, Mrs. Hilton also spent many years mentoring young ladies in RISD secondary schools and has served as both a Cub Scout leader and elementary robotics team coach. Each year, Amy coordinates a group of approximately 35 high school seniors who are participating in the American flag distribution service project for the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club. Cumulatively, her senior service groups have earned over 7,000 service hours.
Mrs. Hilton serves as a board representative on the District Facilities and Construction Committee and the District Budget and Finance Committee, and served as Board President from 2023 to 2025. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Management with a focus on Public Financial Management and Budgeting at Johns Hopkins University.
