Amy Hilton

Biography

Amy Hilton is a 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and has been a licensed as a Certified Public Accountant for 25 years. Amy and her husband, Robert, are residents of Heath and have four children, of whom two are current students and two are RHHS graduates, now attending Texas A&M University and the University of Texas. The Hiltons are active members of First Baptist Church of Rockwall.  

Mrs. Hilton has been actively involved in RISD for many years, serving as a two-term president and founder of both Rockwall-Heath Early Childhood PTA and Linda Lyon Elementary PTO. She formerly served on the board of the Rockwall ISD Council of PTA's, Rockwall-Heath High School PTA, Cain Middle School PTA, Amy Parks-Heath Elementary PTO, and the National League of Junior Cotillions, Rockwall chapter.  Amy is currently serving as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Young Men’s Service League, Rockwall-Heath chapter, having previously served as Assistant Vice President of Philanthropy, Ultimate Gift Chair, and the philanthropy liaison for Children’s Advocacy Center and Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club.  As Ultimate Gift Chair, Mrs. Hilton oversaw the chapter’s 2024 Ultimate Gift Project that installed military branch flags at the homes of 75 local veterans. A recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award and a Rockwall ISD Parent Leadership Academy graduate, Mrs. Hilton also spent many years mentoring young ladies in RISD secondary schools and has served as both a Cub Scout leader and elementary robotics team coach. Each year, Amy coordinates a group of approximately 35 high school seniors who are participating in the American flag distribution service project for the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club.  Cumulatively, her senior service groups have earned over 7,000 service hours.

Mrs. Hilton serves as a board representative on the District Facilities and Construction Committee and the District Budget and Finance Committee, and served as Board President from 2023 to 2025.  She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Management with a focus on Public Financial Management and Budgeting at Johns Hopkins University.
