Leadership Team

Serves as the district’s top executive. Provides leadership, consultation, and guidance to administrative staff. Monitors and supports the District Strategic Plan regarding the call to action, beliefs, learner outcomes, and goals.

Provides strategic leadership and oversight for districtwide academic programs, school leadership, and organizational initiatives to support the District’s goals and vision for student success. Monitors school leadership, student needs, and continuous improvement processes to ensure high levels of instructional quality and operational efficiency across all 26 campuses. Oversees the development and implementation of the district's guaranteed and viable curriculum for the PreK-12 continuum, as well as Career and Technical Education, fine arts, special programs, and multilingual services. Collaborates across departments to align district initiatives, support long-range planning, ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, and advance academic excellence and organizational effectiveness throughout Rockwall ISD.

Administers internal and external communications, serves as liaison with community entities, supervises district response to Public Information Requests, media relations, special events, district website, district social media, and the sports marketing program.

Provides strategic leadership and oversight for districtwide safety, security, emergency preparedness, and crisis response efforts to ensure a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all students and staff. Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the district's emergency operations plans, safety protocols, and crisis response procedures while overseeing daily safety operations across all campuses and facilities. Directs Counseling Services and oversees districtwide attendance and truancy initiatives, student transfer compliance, and implementation of the Student Code of Conduct. Collaborates with campus leaders, local law enforcement, emergency responders, and community partners to strengthen prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts while ensuring compliance with state and federal school safety requirements.

Provides leadership for human resource activities to ensure high quality staffing and retention of district personnel. Recommends and implements legally sound and effective human resource management programs, policies, and practices. Responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of human resources programs to include professional and auxiliary staffing, wage and salary administration, leave administration, performance appraisal, employee relations, and benefits. Serve as the human resources advisor to the Superintendent and Board of Trustees.
