Education Foundation
Providing What’s Otherwise Not Possible.
Supporting innovative teachers to deliver innovative learning initiatives for Rockwall ISD schools.
"The Foundation"
The mission of the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation, Inc. (“The REF”) is to generate funding that will enrich the education of RISD students and provide learning experiences that wouldn’t otherwise be available.
The REF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) founded in 2003 and operates independently from the school district. Funds provided by the community, business partners and RISD families enable the REF to continue supporting Rockwall ISD students and educators.
The Rockwall ISD Education Foundation is sharing an opportunity for you to “Rock the Future.”
After the results of the VATRE, a group of passionate community members recognized an opportunity to assist Rockwall ISD educators and staff and launched a fundraising campaign, “Rock The Future.” Their campaign was created to raise public support that will benefit educators and staff members in the form of a one-time gift.
You can make a tax-deductible donation through the REF, and the funds collected will support teacher and staff retention, which is a critical budgetary need within Rockwall ISD. With the goal of raising $1.3 million dollars by January 31st, the ultimate timing and amount of the distribution solely depends on the community’s investment. Every dollar makes a difference.
